Kyle D. Conrad's Profile and Contact Information

Kyle D. Conrad, of Brook,  has been licensed as an insurance agent since 1999.  He began working full time in insurance in 2001 in Kentland.  In January of 2014 he purchased the G&G Agency from Dave Guthridge.  Since that time other acquisitions include the Garrott-Keller Insurance Agency in Brookston in October of 2018 and the former Insurance Center agency in Fowler in October of 2019.  He and Wayne Moncel of Monon purchased the Novotny Agency in Francesville, Kentland, and Wheatfield in December of 2018.  In April of 2022 Kyle purchased Benton County Abstract and Title Company from Greg and Anne Howard and moved the title agency to 207 E. 5^th, adjoining the insurance office.  He served as the Newton County Circuit Court clerk from 1991 to 2000 and is currently in his third term as a Newton County Commissioner.  He has been a firefighter with the Brook-Iroquois Township Volunteer Fire Department since 1983 and has been fire chief since 1999.  He is also president of the Riverside Cemetery Association at Brook and a member and past officer of several other civic organizations such as Rotary, the Newton County Historical Society and the Newton County Republican party.
